It measures 10 cm (3.9″) across and 26 cm (10.2″) high, and suits a kitchen island, a dining table, an entrance or a bedside.

The onyx

Green onyx is a banded natural stone, translucent where it is cut thin. Pale jade, sage and olive tones run through it with cream mineral bands and occasional warm inclusions, so the colour and pattern are different on every piece. Unlit, the column reads as cool, clouded stone; lit, the light moves through it and the jade and cream bands come forward. The brass gives the green a warm edge.

Sizing and placement

At 10 cm (3.9″) across, one column suits a bedside, a small entrance or a reading corner.
