It is a tailored, architectural ceiling light: the texture of the band gives it depth, and the brass edges pick up the light.

The light

The opal diffuser spreads an even, glare-free light straight down and out across the room, with no lamp visible. At 2700K it reads warm and soft against the brass; at higher colour temperatures the glass turns bright white, which some kitchens prefer.

Sizing and placement

At 33 cm (13") across and only 11.4 cm (4.5") deep, on a 31.5 cm (12.4") canopy, it sits close to the ceiling and suits hallways, kitchens, laundry rooms, walk-in closets and any low ceiling. In a corridor, repeat it every 2 to 2.5 m (7 to 8 ft).

Lamping and installation

Two E26 lamp holders (E27 outside North America). The fixture weighs 3.3 kg (7.3 lb) and is hardwired; have a qualified electrician install it.

Care

Switch off and let the lamps cool. Dust the band with a soft dry brush and the brass with a dry cloth, with no polish or abrasives. Wipe the glass with a damp microfibre cloth.

Specifications

Size: Ø 33 cm × H 11.4 cm (Ø 13" × H 4.5")

Canopy: 31.5 cm (12.4")

Weight: 3.3 kg (7.3 lb)

Materials: brass and opal glass

Lamps: 2 × E26 (E27 outside North America), bulbs not included

Mounting: flush ceiling installation, hardwired

Made to order

Every piece is made to order in our workshop.
