small-milk-glass-pendant-light-clacn020
Small Milk Glass Pendant Light | Acorn Shade, Brass Stem | CLACN020

This pendant hangs a soft, tapering acorn of hand-blown opal glass from a slim solid brass stem and a turned brass holder. Small, rounded and quietly old-fashioned, it is the kind of light that looks as if it has always been there.

The glass

The opal glass is white through its body, so the lamp is hidden and the shade fills with an even, milky light, warm ivory at 2700K. Switched off it reads as fine porcelain. Every shade is blown by hand and varies slightly.

Sizing and placement

The shade measures 20.3 cm (8") wide and 20.3 cm (8") high, with the brass holder bringing the widest point to 25.4 cm (10"). Its compact size works in rows of three or four over a kitchen island, about 60 to 75 cm (24 to 30") apart, with the base 75 to 85 cm (30 to 34") above the counter. One on its own suits a bedside, a small entrance or the space above a sink. The stem sets the overall height anywhere from 43 cm to 391 cm (17 to 154"), so it also hangs well down a stairwell. A sloped ceiling adapter is available on request.

Lamping

One E26 lamp holder (E27 outside North America), bulb not included. Fit an A19 warm white LED at 2700K, up to 60W equivalent.

Installation

Hardwired; the stem is set to your ceiling height before production. Have a qualified electrician install it.

Care

Switch off and let the lamp cool. Wipe the glass with a damp microfibre cloth and a little mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth. Wipe the brass dry, with no polish or abrasives.

Specifications

Shade: W 20.3 cm × H 20.3 cm (8" × 8")

Overall width: 25.4 cm (10")

Overall height: 43.2 to 391.2 cm (17 to 154")

Canopy: Ø 15.9 cm (6-1/4")

Weight: approx. 1.6 kg (3.5 lb)

Materials: solid brass, hand-blown opal glass

Lamp: 1 × E26 (E27 outside North America), bulb not included

Made to order

Every piece is made to order in our workshop.
