Bands of honey, amber and cream run through it, with cloudy passages between them, so the pattern and depth of colour are different on every piece. Lit, the whole square glows and the bands run across it like grain.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eThe frame\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe mounting frame, ceiling plate and hardware carry the full weight of the stone. They come in gold, black or silver; the gold is solid brass.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eSizing and placement\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe 35 cm (13.8″) suits a closet, dressing room, powder room or bathroom, or a series down a hallway. The 45 cm (17.7″) suits a foyer or a walk-in closet. The 60 cm (23.6″) suits a large bedroom or an open-plan space with ceilings of 2.4 to 2.7 m (8 to 9 ft), where a chandelier would feel too heavy.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eLamping and installation\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eTwo lamps in the 35 cm, three in the 45 cm and four in the 60 cm. Warm white LED at 2700K; LED lamps keep the heat inside the stone low. Bulbs are not included. The 35 cm weighs about 7 kg (15 lb), the 45 cm about 12 kg (26 lb) and the 60 cm about 23 kg (51 lb).
