The Modern Disc Pendant is a flat metal disc with the bulb hanging open beneath it. It comes in three diameters: Small, 10 cm (3.9″), Medium, 20 cm (7.9″), and Large, 46 cm (18.1″), each 100 cm (39.4″) high overall, and in three finishes: bronze, black and silver. It suits a dining room, a kitchen or a living space, on its own or in a row over an island.
The frame
The disc and fitting are iron, in a bronze, black or silver finish. The form is kept to a single disc and a slim suspension, so the bulb becomes part of the design.
Sizing and placement
The Small, at 10 cm (3.9″), and the Medium, at 20 cm (7.9″), are made to be used in a row: three to five over a kitchen island or a long table. The Large, at 46 cm (18.1″), suits a table for four, about 90 to 120 cm (35 to 47″), or a living room. Over a table or island, hang the bulb 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the surface.
Suspension
Each size is 100 cm (39.4″) high overall. The drop is made longer or shorter to order to suit your ceiling.
The light
The bulb hangs open below the disc, so the light is clear and even, and the disc throws some of it back down onto the table. A warm filament bulb gives the best effect. Over a kitchen worktop, keep task lighting alongside it.
Lamping and installation
E27 lamp; a warm dimmable LED Edison-style bulb suits it. Warm white at 2700K. The bulb is not included. For indoor use.
Care
Switch off and let the lamp cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners.
Made to order
Every pendant is made to order. The drop can be set to your ceiling, and dimming is available on request.

Before you order
Wiring, testing, installation and returns for this piece. Questions before you order: contact@casalolalights.com
We wire every lamp in our workshop for the country it is delivered to. Voltage, plug and electrical standard are set from your delivery address, so there is nothing to choose at checkout. Pieces shipped to the US are fitted with UL-listed drivers and LED components.
The colour temperature is listed in the specifications. A dimmable version, or a warmer or cooler light, can be made at no extra cost: write it in the note at checkout.
Every piece is assembled, wired and switched on at our workshop bench before it is packed. We check the electrics, the fixings and the finish, and nothing is crated until it passes.
Ask us, and we send you a video of your own lamp, lit and working, before it leaves the workshop. It is free.
An installation manual is packed with every lamp. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician.
For ceiling lights, a standard ceiling box carries about 23 kg (50 lb). Check the weight in the specifications: heavier pieces need a fan-rated box or a mounting plate fixed to a joist.
If a piece arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email contact@casalolalights.com with your order number and photos. We cover the return shipping and send a free replacement or a full refund, with no restocking fee.
If a parcel is lost, we replace it free or refund it in full. An order not delivered within 90 days of dispatch is refunded automatically.
Every piece carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the day it is delivered.
Standard catalogue pieces, including pieces made after you order, can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The piece must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. A 20% restocking fee and return shipping apply.
Choosing a finish, size, dimming option, colour temperature, cable length or plug does not affect your right to return. Bespoke commissions (a non-catalogue size, a structural change or a specially commissioned material, agreed before payment) and items marked final sale cannot be returned for change of mind.
Cancelling
Free within 48 hours of ordering. After that, a charge of up to 20% may apply for materials and work already committed to your piece.
EU and UK customers
Your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies, with no restocking fee.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Yes, both ways, at no extra cost. The drop can be shortened for a lower ceiling, or extended in 50 cm (20 in) sections for a higher one, and we set the finished height to your room. For double-height rooms and stairwells, drops beyond 3 m (10 ft) are quoted with a drawing for you to approve before production. Write your ceiling height, and the height of any table or island below, in the note at checkout. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
Yes. Size, proportions and metal finish can be adapted on most models, and we send you a drawing to approve before production. Changes to wiring, dimming or colour temperature keep the piece returnable; changes to its outer form are made for you alone and cannot be returned. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
Yes, at no extra cost. The standard version is not dimmable; write #dim in the note at checkout and we fit a dimmable driver. Tell us the dimmer or smart-home system you use and we match the driver to it. The light is 2700K Warm White as standard; a warmer or cooler colour temperature can be made on request, also at no extra cost.
It weighs about 2 kg (small) / 3.5 kg (large). A standard ceiling box carries about 23 kg (50 lb), so a box properly fixed to a joist, not to plasterboard alone, will hold it. Installation is hardwired; we recommend a licensed electrician. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
No. Every piece ships DDP (delivered duty paid): we pay the import duties and customs charges, so nothing is collected from you at delivery.
Over a dining table, choose a fixture one-half to two-thirds of the table width and hang it 75–90 cm (30–36 in) above the table top. This piece is sized at Small: Diameter 25 cm (9.8") x Height 38 cm (15") · Large: Diameter 43 cm (16.9") x Height 38 cm (15"). Send us a photo and the room dimensions and we will advise on size and placement. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
