Made of Natural Alabaster. Solid natural alabaster, cut thick enough to glow evenly when lit; the veining and clouding are unique to each piece and never repeat. It is heavier than it looks and cool to the touch — the two easiest ways to tell real stone from resin, which glows flat and feels warm.Every Casalola piece is made to order, not taken from stock: the material is checked against the approved sample, the wiring, socket and driver are tested live, and the finished lamp is test-lit and photographed before it is crated.

Dry, soft cloth only. Alabaster, travertine and marble are porous natural stone: water, sprays and chemicals soak in and leave marks that cannot be removed, so never use a damp cloth on the stone. Switch the light off and let it cool before cleaning.
