This two-tier pendant creates a dramatic focal point, casting a diffused, warm glow through genuine alabaster discs that appear to float within their metallic carapaces. It is designed for high-volume spaces—entryway rotundas or grand salons—where the interplay of light and shadow on its chiseled surfaces can be fully appreciated throughout the day.

The Materiality

True to the Casalola ethos, the Aurelia features heavy-gauge, solid brass frames that have been hand-worked to achieve a deep, vertical "bark" texture. This isn't a cast resin imitation; the physical heft and irregular ridges are the result of meticulous artisan tooling. Set within these frames are thick slabs of natural Spanish Alabaster, chosen for their unique mineral clouding, ensuring that each Aurelia fixture is a singular, one-of-one commission for your project.

The Casalola Standard

Beyond its aesthetic merit, the Aurelia is a triumph of engineering. Every component is hand-finished in our Roman workshop, where we perform rigorous load-bearing tests on the three-point suspension system and full electrical diagnostics. Given the substantial weight of the solid stone and brass, we provide reinforced mounting hardware and ship the fixture in custom-built wooden crates with comprehensive insurance, guaranteeing a seamless transition from our studio to your ceiling.
