A single row of honey-toned stone, hanging from a brass spine.

One horizontal brass beam. Two slim drop rods. A row of warm-veined Italian alabaster panels suspended along the length, cut to the same proportion, lit from within. No tiers, no clusters, no ornament. The geometry is architectural — a length of stone, lit, hanging from a beam.

Voltesio is the most minimal piece in the linear alabaster catalog. For rooms where the fixture should anchor the architecture without competing with it.

About the alabaster.

Panels are hand-cut from solid Italian alabaster — selected for warmer, honey-toned veining rather than the cooler whites of standard alabaster. The honey tone is deliberate: this piece is designed to read warm, pairing better with walnut floors, travertine, limewashed walls, and warm-modern interiors than with cool gray contemporary palettes.

Every panel is unique. The veining within each block can't be predicted or replicated. Panels within a single fixture are intentionally not matched — heavier veining beside softer translucency. Matched stone reads as factory output. Varied stone reads as real material.

Choose the veining at checkout:

• More veining — heavily patterned, dramatic, high-contrast honey-and-cream
• Less veining — softer, cloudier, more uniformly translucent
• Random selection — we choose from stock

About the brass.

The spine, drop rods, canopy, and all hardware are solid brass — not plated, not coated. Solid construction because the linear geometry has no concealing structure: every brass element is visible from every angle. Plated brass would reveal itself within a year along the long horizontal beam.

Default finish is solid brass. Available in chrome (cool modern) or brushed black (matte contemporary) at no additional cost.

Unlacquered. The finish darkens gently over years into a warmer tone.

Suspension.

Two rigid brass drop rods — not chain, not cable. This gives Voltesio its architectural character: the fixture sits firmly at the height you set, doesn't sway, doesn't appear to float. Drop is fully customizable at order — specify your ceiling height and we ship rods sized to your requirement. Default suits 9–11 ft ceilings; custom lengths available at no charge.

Bulbs.

LED G9 strongly recommended. Lower heat extends alabaster life; LED equivalents pull ~40–60W actual draw across the full fixture.

Dimmable on standard TRIAC 120V AC — Lutron Caseta, US residential dimmers, most home automation.

IP65 wet-rated version available.

Standard ships dry-rated. For wet-zone applications — covered outdoor dining, pool houses, primary bathrooms — Voltesio is available with IP65 specification. Add $650 at checkout. Lead time +3–4 weeks.
