The Materiality (Level A Grade)

This is the antithesis of a lightweight, bent-metal fixture. The Matera Halo is constructed from Solid Cast Copper segments, bolted together to form a rigid, monolithic ring. The "bark" texture is not stamped; it is sand-cast, meaning molten copper is poured into a single-use mold to achieve that deep, geological relief. The metal is finished in a living patina that preserves the raw warmth of the copper while protecting it from uneven tarnish. It is a heavy, permanent architectural investment.
