The Silva is a homage to the Liberty style of early 20th-century Italy, reimagined for the contemporary avant-garde. Its silhouette is unmistakably organic, rising from the floor like a dark, stylized vine that culminates in a luminous, golden canopy. This is not a static fixture but a fluid gesture frozen in time. The juxtaposition of the matte black exterior against the hand-gilded gold interior creates a dramatic chiaroscuro effect, casting a warm, indirect light that mimics the sun filtering through dense foliage. It serves as a striking visual anchor in minimalist voids or a complementary organic form in biophilic interiors.

Materiality & Craftsmanship

Rejection of the hollow and the temporary is at the core of the Silva’s construction. Unlike mass-market replicas formed from brittle, blow-molded plastics, the Silva is crafted from Solid High-Density Sculptural Composite. This material choice allows for the lamp’s impossibly slender neck and complex curves to retain exceptional structural rigidity and weight. The surface is hand-finished by our artisans—first smoothed to a satin touch, then treated with a multi-layer architectural coating that resists fading. The interior 'leaf' is hand-applied with metallic gold foil, providing a rich, textured reflectivity that standard paint cannot achieve.

A sculpture of this verticality demands precision engineering. The Silva sits on a weighted, integrated base that lowers the center of gravity, ensuring stability despite its slender profile. Internally, we utilize premium wiring harnesses designed to withstand the thermal output of high-lumen LEDs, ensuring the resin remains cool and safe.
