Atmosfera i osvjetljenje
Cortina je studija geološke drame, evocirajući zamrznuti slap ovješen u tišini. Sastavljena od stotina ručno lomljenih prirodnih selenitnih kristala, rasvjetno tijelo pretvara oštru električnu svjetlost u meki, eterični mjesečev sjaj. Nazubljeni, nepravilni rubovi kamena hvataju unutarnju rasvjetu, lomeći je kroz vlaknaste slojeve gips kristala kako bi stvorili mirnu, pročišćujuću atmosferu. To je monolitni središnji komad dizajniran da ukrasi velike blagovaonice ili glavne spavaće sobe prisutnošću visećeg ledenjaka.
Materijalnost i konstrukcija
Autentičnost je duša ovog rasvjetnog tijela. Odbacujemo industrijski standard korištenja izlivenih smola ili "K9" stakla za simulaciju kamena. Cortina koristi autentični, rudarski selenit (gips kristal), odabran zbog svoje biserne neprozirnosti i jedinstvenih linija loma. Ovi teški mineralni komadi pričvršćeni su na okvir od čvrstog matiranog bakra. Bakar smo odabrali ne samo zbog njegovog luksuznog toplog sjaja — koji proviruje kroz praznine u kamenu — već i zbog njegove superiorne duktilnosti i otpornosti na koroziju, osiguravajući da okvir nikada ne hrđa niti ne mijenja boju besprijekornih bijelih kristala.
Casalola standard
Inženjerska sigurnost je naš primarni luksuz. Budući da je selenit gusti mineral, Cortina je znatno teža od standardnog staklenog lustera. Središnja bakrena osovina ojačana je čeličnim nosivim jezgrom kako bi se spriječilo savijanje. Svaki kristal je prethodno izbušen i mehanički učvršćen (nije zalijepljen), što omogućuje prirodnu toplinsku ekspanziju. Rasvjetno tijelo se isporučuje s odvojenim kristalima, pojedinačno umotanim u pjenasti materijal visoke gustoće kako bi se spriječilo oštećenje tijekom transporta, uz "kartu" za preciznu ponovnu ugradnju od strane vašeg električara.
