Amber Glass Bell Pendant | Amber or Milk Glass, Brass | CLBEL030

$880.00 USD

A wide, low bell of hand-blown glass hangs beneath a slim solid brass stem and a turned brass holder. It is made in translucent amber, which leaves the bulb on view and throws a warm, honeyed light, or in milk glass, which hides the bulb and glows evenly.

The glass

Amber is clear-coloured, so the bulb becomes part of the design and the room takes on a golden tint. Milk glass is white through its body and reads as soft porcelain when off; lit at 2700K it turns warm ivory. Each shade is blown by hand and varies slightly.

Where it works

Its low profile suits a row: three over a kitchen island, 70 to 80 cm (28 to 31") apart, with the base 75 to 85 cm (30 to 34") above the counter. On a long stem it also works down a stairwell or in a double-height entrance.

Lamping and installation

One E26 bulb (E27 outside North America), not included: a G25 globe LED at 2700K, up to 60W equivalent. A clear filament globe suits the amber, where the bulb is on view; an opal globe suits the milk glass. Hardwired to a standard ceiling box by a qualified electrician.

Before you order

How long is the stem? It is set to your ceiling height before production, from a short drop to a double-height space.
Can it hang from a sloped ceiling? Yes, with a sloped ceiling adapter for slopes up to 40°.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order in our workshop. Stem length and metal finish can be adapted before production. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.

Before you order

Wiring, testing, installation and returns for this piece. Questions before you order: contact@casalolalights.com

Wiring for your country

We wire every lamp in our workshop for the country it is delivered to. Voltage, plug and electrical standard are set from your delivery address, so there is nothing to choose at checkout. Pieces shipped to the US are fitted with UL-listed drivers and LED components.

The colour temperature is listed in the specifications. A dimmable version, or a warmer or cooler light, can be made at no extra cost: write it in the note at checkout.

Lighting guide: colour temperature, dimming and bulbs

Tested before it ships

Every piece is assembled, wired and switched on at our workshop bench before it is packed. We check the electrics, the fixings and the finish, and nothing is crated until it passes.

Ask us, and we send you a video of your own lamp, lit and working, before it leaves the workshop. It is free.

Installation

An installation manual is packed with every lamp. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician.

For ceiling lights, a standard ceiling box carries about 23 kg (50 lb). Check the weight in the specifications: heavier pieces need a fan-rated box or a mounting plate fixed to a joist.

Damage, loss and warranty

If a piece arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email contact@casalolalights.com with your order number and photos. We cover the return shipping and send a free replacement or a full refund, with no restocking fee.

If a parcel is lost, we replace it free or refund it in full. An order not delivered within 90 days of dispatch is refunded automatically.

Every piece carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the day it is delivered.

Returns and cancellations

Standard catalogue pieces, including pieces made after you order, can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The piece must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. A 20% restocking fee and return shipping apply.

Choosing a finish, size, dimming option, colour temperature, cable length or plug does not affect your right to return. Bespoke commissions (a non-catalogue size, a structural change or a specially commissioned material, agreed before payment) and items marked final sale cannot be returned for change of mind.

Cancelling

Free within 48 hours of ordering. After that, a charge of up to 20% may apply for materials and work already committed to your piece.

EU and UK customers

Your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies, with no restocking fee.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Yes, both ways, at no extra cost. The drop can be shortened for a lower ceiling, or extended in 50 cm (20 in) sections for a higher one, and we set the finished height to your room. For double-height rooms and stairwells, drops beyond 3 m (10 ft) are quoted with a drawing for you to approve before production. Write your ceiling height, and the height of any table or island below, in the note at checkout. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.

Yes. Size, proportions and metal finish can be adapted on most models, and we send you a drawing to approve before production. Changes to wiring, dimming or colour temperature keep the piece returnable; changes to its outer form are made for you alone and cannot be returned. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.

Yes, at no extra cost. The standard version is not dimmable; write #dim in the note at checkout and we fit a dimmable driver. Tell us the dimmer or smart-home system you use and we match the driver to it. The light is 2700K Warm White as standard; a warmer or cooler colour temperature can be made on request, also at no extra cost.

It weighs about 1.4 kg (3 lb). A standard ceiling box carries about 23 kg (50 lb), so a box properly fixed to a joist, not to plasterboard alone, will hold it. Installation is hardwired; we recommend a licensed electrician. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.

No. Every piece ships DDP (delivered duty paid): we pay the import duties and customs charges, so nothing is collected from you at delivery.

Allow at least 210 cm (7 ft) from the floor to the lowest point in a walk-through area; over a table or counter, 75–90 cm (30–36 in) above the surface. This piece is sized at Shade: Ø 30.5cm x H 14cm / Ø 12" x H 5.5" · Overall height: 33–376cm / 13–148" · Canopy: Ø 13cm / 5.1". Send us a photo and the room dimensions and we will advise on size and placement. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
