De Palatino is niet zomaar een verlichtingsarmatuur; het is een monolithisch beeldhouwwerk dat aanwezigheid afdwingt in elke ruimte. Met een monumentale hoogte van 170 cm roept deze totem de grandeur van de oude Romeinse architectuur op, herinterpreteerd door een hedendaagse, organische lens. Wanneer verlicht, verandert het massieve albast van een koele, stoïcijnse steen in een warme, etherische baken. De natuurlijke aders—variërend van subtiel rookgrijs tot diep roestkleurig—creëren een uniek, betoverend landschap binnen elk segment, dat een diffuse, amberkleurige gloed werpt die de harde lijnen van moderne interieurs verzacht.
Materialiteit & Vakmanschap
In tegenstelling tot massaproducties die vertrouwen op hars of namaaksteencomposieten, is de Palatino vervaardigd uit 100% massieve, echte albasten blokken. Elk geometrisch segment—bollen, cilinders en zachte oblate vormen—is met de hand geselecteerd op graancontinuïteit voordat het door onze meesterambachtslieden wordt gedraaid. De steen behoudt zijn zware, koel aanvoelende kwaliteit, verankerd door een stevige massief houten voet die stabiliteit garandeert. Omdat dit natuursteen is, zijn geen twee lampen identiek; elke scheur en wolkpatroon is een getuigenis van de geologische geschiedenis van de aarde.

Bij Casalola Lights geven we net zoveel prioriteit aan techniek als aan esthetiek. Voordat de Palatino onze werkplaats verlaat, ondergaat hij rigoureuze structurele en elektrische tests. We gebruiken hoogwaardige, hittebestendige interne componenten die compatibel zijn met moderne LED-technologie om ervoor te zorgen dat de steen gelijkmatig wordt verlicht zonder oververhitting.
