De achterplaat heeft een organische, kiezelachtige omtrek met afgeronde hoeken en een zachte kromming aan de randen, afgewerkt in warm geborsteld messing over ijzer. Aan de voorkant wordt een met de hand bewerkte heldere glazen capsule met subtiele bellen en textuur vastgezet door twee kleine messing bevestigingen en een korte messing fitting aan de basis. Verlicht lijkt het glas op bevroren water dat om de lamp gewikkeld is.
