De Palatina is een oefening in organische poëzie, een silhouet dat minder aanvoelt als een meubelstuk en meer als een relikwie opgegraven uit een Romeinse tuin. Zijn driepuntige, boomachtige vorm reikt met een bewuste, asymmetrische gratie omhoog en werpt een warme, multidirectionele gloed die zonlicht nabootst dat door een bladerdak filtert. Dit is een "statement piece" in de ware zin van het woord, ontworpen om een kamer te verankeren met zijn stille, monolithische aanwezigheid terwijl het de zachte, atmosferische gelaagdheid biedt die essentieel is voor hoogwaardige residentiële interieurs.

Materialiteit

Gemaakt met de traditionele cire perdue (verloren was) gietmethode, is elke Palatina-lamp een uniek artefact. We gebruiken alleen architectonisch massief brons van hoge kwaliteit, met de hand afgewerkt om de rijke, tactiele "schors" textuur die het oppervlak definieert naar voren te brengen. In tegenstelling tot de holle, met hars vergulde imitaties die in de massamarkt worden gevonden, bezit deze lamp het aanzienlijke gewicht en de koude, authentieke aanraking van echt gegoten metaal. Het is afgewerkt met een met de hand aangebrachte diepe patina die op elegante wijze zal verouderen en een karaktervolle glans zal ontwikkelen over generaties.

De Casalola Standaard

Naast zijn sculpturale schoonheid is de Palatina een triomf van technische veiligheid. Ondanks zijn smalle voetafdruk is de driepootbasis verzwaard en uitgebalanceerd om te voldoen aan strenge stabiliteitsnormen. Elk exemplaar wordt met de hand geassembleerd in onze studio in Rome, waar onze technici uitgebreide elektrische belastingstests uitvoeren en de structurele integriteit van de gieting verifiëren. Om ervoor te zorgen dat dit 208 cm meesterwerk in perfecte staat aankomt, wordt het verzonden in een speciaal gebouwde, schokabsorberende houten kist en is het volledig verzekerd van onze werkplaats tot aan uw deur.
