Het compacte profiel van 43 cm en de afgeronde voet verwijzen naar Franse salonlampen uit de jaren 1940, heruitgevonden voor hedendaagse interieurs.
In tegenstelling tot holle hars- of dunne stalen palen met nep-houten omwikkelingen, gebruikt de aluminium vloerlamp stijf, geëxtrudeerd metaal met fijne verticale groeven, wat de kolom gewicht, scherpe schaduwlijnen en langdurige structurele stabiliteit geeft.
