De Lumina is een meesterwerk in spanning en elegantie. Geïnspireerd door de revolutionaire ontwerpen uit de jaren 60, creëert zijn grote, vloeiende boog een lichtbron boven het hoofd zonder de permanentie van een plafondarmatuur. Met een indrukwekkende hoogte van 240 cm is het ontworpen om de kloof te overbruggen tussen architectonisch beeldhouwwerk en functionele taakverlichting, perfect om een eettafel of een laaggelegen zithoek vanuit een verre hoek te verlichten. Het brengt een gevoel van luchtige verfijning en uitgestrekte luxe in grootschalige residentiële interieurs.
Materialiteit
De Lumina wordt verankerd door een monolithisch blok handgesneden, echt Carrara marmer—dat de cruciale tegenwicht biedt die nodig is voor het indrukwekkende bereik van 220 cm. Dit is niet het lichte composietmateriaal dat in massamarkt replica's wordt gebruikt; het is een ballast van 65 kg massief Italiaans steen. De telescopische steel is vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig architectonisch aluminium en versterkt ijzer, wat zorgt voor nauwkeurige hoogte- en bereikaanpassingen, terwijl de gedraaide aluminium koepel een gepolijste reflecterende binnenkant heeft voor optimale lichtverspreiding.
