Sfeer & verlichting

De Salma brengt een laag texturale stilte in het moderne interieur. Ontworpen voor de Wabi-Sabi gevoeligheid—die schoonheid vindt in natuurlijke imperfectie—functioneert deze 120 cm lineaire hanglamp als een lichtfilter in plaats van een harde lichtbron. De gelaagde, rechthoekige silhouet bestaat uit duizenden met de hand omwikkelde vezelstrengen die het interne licht filteren tot een warme, amberkleurige gloed. Het creëert een "haard" effect, waarbij de harde randen van marmeren eilanden of betonnen eettafels worden verzacht met een gouden, organische gloed.

Materialiteit & Constructie

Wij verwerpen de industriestandaard van het weven over goedkoop staal draad, dat uiteindelijk roest en de vezel bevlekt. De Sabina is gebouwd op een solide koperen interne armatuur, gekozen vanwege zijn niet-corrosieve eigenschappen en superieure hechting met organische materialen.
