Alabaster veining As shown
From subtle to dramatic. Choosing the veining only selects the stone we carve, so it adds no time.
A different finish adds about one month to production. We will contact you with the exact date, and with when your filmed bench test will arrive.

How your piece is made
Production time is separate from transit time. Both are stated for this lamp in the Logistics section below. How Casalola lamps are made
Our advisors are happy to assist you throughout your projects.
Open here
This table lamp sets a carved alabaster dome on a polished brass column, 30 cm (11.8") across and 50 cm (19.6") high. The stone diffuses the light through its own veining, so the glow is warm and uneven in the way stone always is.
The alabaster
Natural stone, so veining, colour and translucency differ on every dome.
Where it belongs
A console, a bedside or a living room surface. A pair either side of a bed gives symmetry without matching, since the two stones will differ.
Lamping and installation
Warm white at 2700K.
Made to order
Stone selection and brass finish can be specified before production, and dimming is available on request. It is also made in a darker finish. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.

Before you order
Wiring, testing, installation and returns for this piece. Questions before you order: contact@casalolalights.com
We wire every lamp in our workshop for the country it is delivered to. Voltage, plug and electrical standard are set from your delivery address, so there is nothing to choose at checkout. Pieces shipped to the US are fitted with UL-listed drivers and LED components.
The colour temperature is listed in the specifications. A dimmable version, or a warmer or cooler light, can be made at no extra cost: write it in the note at checkout.
Every piece is assembled, wired and switched on at our workshop bench before it is packed. We check the electrics, the fixings and the finish, and nothing is crated until it passes.
Ask us, and we send you a video of your own lamp, lit and working, before it leaves the workshop. It is free.
An installation manual is packed with every lamp. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician.
For ceiling lights, a standard ceiling box carries about 23 kg (50 lb). Check the weight in the specifications: heavier pieces need a fan-rated box or a mounting plate fixed to a joist.
If a piece arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email contact@casalolalights.com with your order number and photos. We cover the return shipping and send a free replacement or a full refund, with no restocking fee.
If a parcel is lost, we replace it free or refund it in full. An order not delivered within 90 days of dispatch is refunded automatically.
Every piece carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the day it is delivered.
Standard catalogue pieces, including pieces made after you order, can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The piece must be unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. A 20% restocking fee and return shipping apply.
Choosing a finish, size, dimming option, colour temperature, cable length or plug does not affect your right to return. Bespoke commissions (a non-catalogue size, a structural change or a specially commissioned material, agreed before payment) and items marked final sale cannot be returned for change of mind.
Cancelling
Free within 48 hours of ordering. After that, a charge of up to 20% may apply for materials and work already committed to your piece.
EU and UK customers
Your 14-day statutory right of withdrawal applies, with no restocking fee.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Yes. Size, proportions and metal finish can be adapted on most models, and we send you a drawing to approve before production. Changes to wiring, dimming or colour temperature keep the piece returnable; changes to its outer form are made for you alone and cannot be returned. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
The form, size and finish will match. The stone will not be identical, because every piece of alabaster has its own veining and clouding. If you prefer a calmer or a richer stone, say so in the note at checkout and we select it for you. Before your lamp ships we film it lit, so you see your own stone before it leaves the workshop. On arrival, unpack and test-light it before installation, and send photos of any transit damage before it is fitted.
Yes, at no extra cost. The standard version is not dimmable; write #dim in the note at checkout and we fit a dimmable driver. Tell us the dimmer or smart-home system you use and we match the driver to it. The light is 2700K Warm White as standard; a warmer or cooler colour temperature can be made on request, also at no extra cost. Through alabaster, warm white gives the softest glow.
On a side table or console, with the bottom of the shade at about eye level when seated beside it. This piece is sized at ∅ 11.8″ x H 19.6″ / Dia 30cm x H 50cm. Send us a photo and the room dimensions and we will advise on size and placement. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
No. Every piece ships DDP (delivered duty paid): we pay the import duties and customs charges, so nothing is collected from you at delivery.
Models with a replaceable E27 or E14 bulb take any smart bulb of that base; integrated-LED models are controlled through a smart dimmer or switch. Questions before ordering: contact@casalolalights.com, we reply within 24 hours.
