The Aventino is not merely a light source; it is a piece of vertical architecture designed to command the volumetric center of a room. Standing at 113cm tall, this four-tiered molecular structure creates a cascading pillar of light, making it the definitive anchor for high-ceilinged foyers, spiral staircases, or grand dining tables. The nineteen artisan-blown globes diffuse light into a soft, shadowless aura. When chosen in the Marbled Alabaster finish, the glass warms the light into a sedimentary, geological glow; in Matte Opal, it offers a pure, moon-like radiance that defines the space without glare.
Materiality & Construction
We reject the industry standard of hollow aluminum or plated steel. The Aventino is machined from solid, heavy-gauge brass (CuZn37 alloy), imparting a substantial weight (~18kg) that speaks to its permanence. The metalwork is hand-finished in our Roman workshop: available in a brushed Satin Brass that will develop a living patina, or an architectural Matte Black oxide. The glass spheres are secured not by tension clips, but by threaded brass collars, ensuring perfect alignment and safety—a detail often missed in mass-market reproductions.
The Casalola Standard

Given the significant weight and vertical scale of the Aventino, the central spine is reinforced with a steel inner core to prevent bowing over decades of suspension. Every fixture is pre-assembled and continuity-tested for 24 hours in Rome before being crated. We utilize high-density, cut-to-shape foam packaging to immobilize the stems during transit, ensuring the fixture arrives at your project site with the same precision-engineered geometry as when it left our bench.
