Certifications, Compliance & Specification

Casalola supplies interior designers, architects, procurement agencies and hospitality buyers worldwide. This page sets out what we can document for specification and submittal.

Electrical compliance

Certification is stated per product, not across the catalogue. Compliance documentation is issued on request for project submittals.

United States. Fixtures shipped to the US are supplied with UL-listed drivers and UL-listed LED components. Whole-luminaire listing to UL 1598 is handled per project — send us your specification and quantity and we will confirm what is available for that fixture.

European Union. CE compliance documentation is available for all fixtures.

IP ratings. The IP rating is stated on each product page. Fixtures rated IP44 and above are suitable for bathroom zones; IP65 fixtures are rated for outdoor use.

Every fixture is built for its destination — voltage, plug standard and electrical configuration — and bench-tested lit before dispatch.

Materials

Every Casalola fixture is made from genuine natural material — hand-carved alabaster, solid brass, solid copper, travertine, hand-poured and Murano glass, and natural stone. Never synthetic, never faux alabaster. Material certificates are available on request.

Made to order

Casalola fixtures are made to order in Casalola's own workshop in Zhongshan, China, under the brand's direct supervision. Production begins approximately two days after the order is placed and runs 2–3 weeks for standard pieces. Production time and transit time are separate: fixtures over 120 cm ship by sea, adding 3–4 weeks in transit; smaller pieces ship in 1–2 weeks. Custom and artisanal commissions run to two months to delivery.

Customisation is offered at no surcharge: drop length, metal finish, alabaster veining, and rigid rod in place of chain. A blueprint is issued for your confirmation before production begins.

Before dispatch, a video of the completed fixture, lit and working, is available on request at no charge.

Shipping and warranty

Shipped DDP worldwide. Duties are buyer-paid and stated transparently at quotation. Every fixture carries a two-year warranty. Alabaster and glass fixtures ship in reinforced crates with individual panel protection.

Trade and specification

Casalola operates a trade program for designers, architects, procurement agencies and hospitality buyers: 20% trade pricing, quotations issued against project specifications, spec sheets and GA drawings supplied for submittal, and finish and material charts on request.
