Alabaster panels, held by brass at every corner.

A circular brass framework — top rail, bottom rail, vertical brass elements connecting them — with large rectangular alabaster panels inset into the architectural openings. Each panel is held in place by solid brass L-brackets at all four corners, visible at top and bottom, inside and outside. The brackets aren't decorative trim — they're the structural hardware that holds substantial pieces of stone, deliberately left visible as the design signature.

The construction language reads classical — brass bracketing with the structural rigor of late-19th-century European architectural detailing, scaled into contemporary fixture form.

Greca leads with the alabaster itself. The panels are deliberately selected for dramatic veining — heavy mineral lines, high-contrast cream-and-stone patterns, the kind of material that reads as serious quarried stone rather than a uniform translucent diffuser. The brass framework is the supporting structure; the alabaster is the subject.

Where it belongs

Greca 50 (20"): over a 4-seat round dining table or breakfast nook at 9–10ft ceilings; a powder or guest bathroom with formal ceiling height; centred above a vanity in a dressing room; a smaller foyer where the classical bracket detail is the deliberate gesture.

Greca 60 (24"): over a 6-seat round dining table at 10–12ft ceilings; above a breakfast area or smaller island; centred in a primary suite, formal living room or library; a single-story foyer with 10+ft ceilings.

Greca 120 (47"): the grand statement size — over a 12-seat round table at 12–14ft ceilings; a grand or double-height foyer; a hospitality dining room or private club where 47" of bracketed alabaster reads as commissioned design.

About the alabaster. Every panel is hand-cut from solid Italian alabaster, selected specifically for dramatic veining — heavy black-and-cream mineral lines and geological character that reads from across the room. Each panel within a single fixture is selected for its individual character; no two panels match, by design.

Choose the veining intensity at checkout: high-contrast (default) — heavy mineral lines, dramatic patterns; medium veining — balanced contrast; softer veining — a quieter read with the bracket detail still leading; or random selection from stock.

About the brass. Every visible brass element — top and bottom frame rings, vertical connectors, L-brackets at every panel corner, chain, canopy and all hardware — is solid brass: not plated, not coated, not brass-finished steel. The corner brackets are the design signature and require solid brass specifically — at the contact points there's continuous pressure from the stone weight, and plated brass would wear and reveal itself within years. Solid brass holds geometry and patinates uniformly. Default finish is solid brass; available in chrome or brushed black on request at the same price. Unlacquered brass darkens gently over years into a richer patina.

Suspension. Solid brass chain (or chrome / black to match), 50cm / 20" standard length, fully customizable at order. Specify your ceiling height at checkout and we ship chain sized to requirement at no additional charge; extended chains for double-height foyers available.

The light. Greca 50: 8 × G9, max 40W per socket (320W total). Greca 60: 10 × G9 (400W total). Greca 120: 20 × G9 (800W total — requires a 1000W-rated dimmer at full incandescent load; LED eliminates this concern). LED G9 strongly recommended — lower heat protects the alabaster long-term and removes dimmer-load concerns at every size. Dimmable on TRIAC 120V AC (Lutron Caseta, US residential dimmers, most home automation).

Custom IP65 wet-rated version available. Standard ships dry-rated for indoor use. For covered outdoor pavilions, primary bathrooms above tubs or hospitality wet zones, Greca is available with IP65 specification (sealed driver, gasketed canopy, wet-rated LED). Add $650 at checkout; lead time extends 3–4 weeks.
