Hand-carved alabaster teardrops hung in concentric tiers from a solid brass frame — the longest at the outer edge, descending in layers to the smallest at the bottom centre. Off, it reads as a sculptural cascade of carved stone; on, every teardrop glows from within and the layered geometry turns hard mineral into something close to falling water held mid-air. The romantic, decorative piece in the alabaster collection — warmth and movement rather than structural anchor.
