S výškou monumentálních 170 cm evokuje tento totem velkolepost starověké římské architektury, reinterpretované moderním, organickým způsobem. Po rozsvícení se masivní alabastr promění z chladného, stoického kamene v teplý, éterický maják. Přírodní žilkování – od jemné kouřově šedé po hlubokou rezavou – vytváří jedinečnou, fascinující krajinu v každém segmentu, která vrhá rozptýlené jantarové světlo, jež zjemňuje tvrdé linie moderních interiérů.

Materiál a řemeslné zpracování

Na rozdíl od masově vyráběných replik, které spoléhají na pryskyřici nebo kompozity z umělého kamene, je Palatino vyroben z 100% masivních, pravých bloků alabastru. Každý geometrický segment – koule, válce a jemné oblé tvary – je ručně vybrán pro kontinuitu žil a poté soustružen našimi mistry řemeslníky. Kámen si zachovává svou těžkou, chladivou povahu, podpořenou robustním podstavcem z masivního dřeva, který zajišťuje stabilitu. Protože se jedná o přírodní kámen, žádná lampa není stejná; každá trhlina a vzor mračen je svědectvím geologické historie Země.
