Atmosféra a architektura

Pojmenováno podle starobylého toskánského města proslulého svým průsvitným kamenem, Volterra je architektonické mistrovské dílo, které zjemňuje moderní domov. Po rozsvícení dvanáct vnitřních světel prochází ručně řezanými deskami pravého španělského alabastru, proměňujíc kámen z chladné, monolitické sochy na teplý, jantarově zbarvený zdroj světla. Vícevrstvý, geometrický profil odkazuje na okázalost art deco 20. let 20. století, zatímco nařasené sametové závěsné návleky přidávají na míru vytvořenou vrstvu hmatové měkkosti, tlumí průmyslový ráz a vytvářejí intimní, akustickou a hluboce luxusní atmosféru pro stolování.

Materiál a původ

Odmítáme průmyslový trend akrylových a pryskyřičných imitací kamene. Volterra je vyrobena ze 100% těženého alabastru, vybraného speciálně pro jeho mlhavé, kouřové žilkování, které zaručuje, že žádné dva kusy nejsou stejné. Masivní kamenné vrstvy jsou ukotveny rámem z pevné mědi (s povrchovou úpravou v teplém, saténově broušeném mosazném tónu), vybraným pro svou vyšší hmotnost a odolnost proti korozi ve srovnání s běžnou ocelí. Toto je svítidlo s „hmotností dědictví“ — chladné na dotek a postavené tak, aby přežilo budovu, ve které se nachází.
