Fabriquée en fer soudé avec une finition patinée foncée, la lampe sur pied Atelier Loop-Frame utilise une base ouverte et continue pour soutenir un abat-jour en tissu sur mesure en forme de tambour dans un profil vertical épuré de 162,5 cm. La géométrie est délibérément squelettique — plus un support architectural qu'un poteau décoratif — de sorte que l'abat-jour semble flotter à l'intérieur de la structure.

Contrairement aux tubes en aluminium léger ou à l'acier plaqué fin qui se bossellent et vacillent avec le temps, la structure en fer de la lampe sur pied offre une rigidité supérieure et une stabilité accrue, particulièrement importante à une hauteur de 162,5 cm. La base en boucle répartit la charge sur le plancher, réduisant le balancement sur les planches en bois et ajoutant de la stabilité dans les salons à fort passage et les suites hôtelières.
