Ambiance & Illumination
L’Aventino n’est pas simplement une source lumineuse ; c’est une pièce d’architecture verticale conçue pour dominer le centre volumétrique d’une pièce. Haut de 113 cm, cette structure moléculaire à quatre niveaux crée une colonne lumineuse en cascade, faisant de lui l’ancrage définitif pour les halls à hauts plafonds, escaliers en colimaçon ou grandes tables de salle à manger. Les dix-neuf globes soufflés artisanalement diffusent une lumière douce, sans ombre. Choisi en finition albâtre marbré, le verre réchauffe la lumière en une lueur sédimentaire et géologique ; en opale mate, il offre une radiance pure, lunaire, qui définit l’espace sans éblouir.
Matérialité & Construction
Nous rejetons la norme industrielle de l’aluminium creux ou de l’acier plaqué. L’Aventino est usiné dans du laiton massif, épais (alliage CuZn37), lui conférant un poids substantiel (~18kg) qui témoigne de sa permanence. La ferronnerie est finie à la main dans notre atelier romain : disponible en laiton satiné brossé qui développera une patine vivante, ou en oxyde noir mat architectural. Les sphères en verre sont fixées non pas par des clips de tension, mais par des colliers en laiton filetés, assurant un alignement parfait et la sécurité — un détail souvent négligé dans les reproductions de masse.
Le standard Casalola
La sécurité technique est notre premier luxe. Étant donné le poids important et l’échelle verticale de l’Aventino, la colonne centrale est renforcée par un noyau intérieur en acier pour éviter toute déformation après des décennies de suspension. Chaque luminaire est préassemblé et testé en continuité pendant 24 heures à Rome avant d’être emballé. Nous utilisons un emballage en mousse dense découpée sur mesure pour immobiliser les tiges pendant le transport, garantissant que le luminaire arrive sur votre chantier avec la même géométrie de précision qu’à sa sortie de notre atelier.
