Ambiance & Illumination
La Cortina est une étude de drame géologique, évoquant une cascade gelée suspendue dans le silence. Composée de centaines de cristaux naturels de Sélénite clivés à la main, la lampe transforme la lumière électrique dure en une douce lueur lunaire éthérée. Les bords irréguliers et dentelés de la pierre captent l'illumination interne, la réfractant à travers les couches fibreuses du cristal de gypse pour créer une atmosphère sereine et purifiante. C'est une pièce maîtresse monolithique conçue pour ancrer de grandes salles à manger ou des suites parentales avec la présence d'un glacier suspendu.
Matérialité & Construction
L'authenticité est l'âme de ce luminaire. Nous rejetons la norme industrielle qui utilise de la résine coulée ou du verre "K9" pour simuler la pierre. La Cortina utilise de la Sélénite authentique, extraite (Cristal de gypse), sélectionnée pour son opacité nacrée et ses lignes de fracture uniques. Ces éclats minéraux lourds sont ancrés à un châssis en cuivre massif brossé. Nous avons choisi le cuivre non seulement pour sa chaleur luxueuse — qui transparaît à travers les interstices de la pierre — mais aussi pour sa ductilité supérieure et sa résistance à la corrosion, garantissant que le cadre ne rouille jamais ni ne décolore les cristaux blancs immaculés.
Le standard Casalola
La sécurité technique est notre luxe principal. Parce que la Sélénite est un minéral dense, la Cortina est significativement plus lourde qu'un lustre en verre standard. L'âme centrale en cuivre est renforcée par un noyau porteur en acier pour éviter toute déformation. Chaque cristal est pré-percé et fixé mécaniquement (non collé), permettant une expansion thermique naturelle. Le luminaire est expédié avec les cristaux détachés et emballés individuellement dans une mousse haute densité pour éviter tout frottement pendant le transport, accompagné d'une "carte" pour une réinstallation précise par votre électricien.
