La Cassia est une étude de minimalisme organique, une silhouette saisissante qui impose sa présence par son échelle et sa sérénité. Haute de 200 cm (près de 6,6 pieds), cette lampe sur pied monolithique fait le lien entre l'éclairage fonctionnel et la sculpture à grande échelle. Son large bassin ondulé évoque les formes des anciens vases à eau, diffusant une lueur douce vers le plafond qui baigne les surfaces d'une chaleur diffuse. La pièce incarne la philosophie wabi-sabi, célébrant la beauté imparfaite et les formes brutes et élémentaires qui ancrent les intérieurs modernes dans la tranquillité.
Matérialité & savoir-faire
S'éloignant de la froideur austère des métaux industriels, la Cassia est réalisée avec une finition artisanale en plâtre appliquée à la main. La surface n'est pas uniforme ; elle présente une texture tactile délibérée créée par les mouvements rythmiques de la truelle de l'artisan.
