De Aurelia is een meesterwerk in lichtbreking, ontworpen om een kamer te transformeren in een lichtgevend toevluchtsoord. Zijn torenhoge kolom van precisiegeslepen K9 kristalstaven vangt en breekt licht in een fonkelend spectrum, dat doet denken aan het gouden uur dat weerspiegeld wordt op de Tiber. Met een hoogte van 170 cm dient het als een verfijnde verticale ankerpunt, dat een briljante maar diffuse omgevingsgloed biedt en een laag van hoogglamoureuze architectonische interesse toevoegt aan elk eigentijds interieur of grote hal.
Materialiteit
Authenticiteit staat centraal bij de Aurelia. De centrale pilaar en verzwaarde basis zijn gesmeed uit massief koper met een diepe, met de hand gepolijste gouden afwerking—niet de dunne elektroplatering die gebruikelijk is bij massamarktreplica's. Elke staaf is individueel K9 kristal, bekend om zijn hoge brekingsindex en uitzonderlijke helderheid, die standaard glas ver overtreft. Deze combinatie van zwaar metaal en loodvrij kristal zorgt voor een stuk met aanzienlijke fysieke aanwezigheid en een permanente, niet-vervagende schittering.
De Casalola Standaard
In onze Romeinse werkplaats ondergaat de Aurelia een nauwgezet assemblageproces. Elke kristalstaaf wordt met de hand uitgelijnd om perfecte verticaliteit en lichtverdeling te garanderen. We onderwerpen het geïntegreerde elektrische systeem aan rigoureuze hoogspanningsveiligheidstests om te voldoen aan wereldwijde normen. Om de ingewikkelde kristalstructuur te beschermen, wordt de Aurelia verzonden in gespecialiseerde hoogdichte schuimvormen binnen een versterkte houten kist, volledig verzekerd, zodat hij in onberispelijke, galerieklaar staat op locatie aankomt.
