This wall sconce sets a glowing alabaster disc into a metal backplate and hangs a strand of turned wood and stone beads beneath it, 59 cm (23.2") high and 25 cm (9.8") wide, or 83 cm (32.7") high and 40 cm (15.7") wide, standing 10 to 12 cm (4 to 4.7") off the wall.
The materials
The disc is carved from natural alabaster and the beads are turned by hand, so the veining, the grain and the length of the strand all vary from piece to piece.
Choosing a size
The medium suits a bedside, a corridor or a powder room; the large carries an entrance, a stair wall or a dining room where the strand can hang clear.
Lamping and installation
G9 lamps, warm white at 2700K, concealed behind the stone. It weighs about 3 to 4.5 kg (7 to 10 lb) medium and 6 to 8.5 kg (13 to 19 lb) large, so the large size needs a stud or reinforced anchors.
Made to order
Stone selection, bead tone and size can be specified before production, and dimming is available on request. Trade clients can request drawings and project quantities through our trade program.

Logistics
Every Casalola lamp is made to order in our workshop. Production begins about two days after your order. Production time and transit time are separate; both are stated below for this lamp.
Each piece is wired for your destination's voltage and plug standard, bench-tested with the lamp lit, then packed in a reinforced wooden crate with foam suspension and shipped fully insured to the USA, EU, UK, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
Made to order in our workshop. Production begins about two days after your order and takes 1 to 3 weeks, including wiring for your destination and a lit bench test before packing. Transit time below is separate.

Yes. This alabaster wall sconce can be made in an IP65 version, sealed against dust and water jets, for bathrooms, including the area above a bath or shower, and for covered outdoor spaces such as a porch or loggia. Ask for the IP65 version in the note at checkout, or email us before ordering, and we confirm it before production begins. The form, size and finish will match. The stone will not be identical, because every piece of alabaster has its own veining and clouding. If you prefer a calmer or a richer stone, say so in the note at checkout and we select it for you. Before your lamp ships we film it lit, so you see your own stone before it leaves the workshop. On arrival, unpack and test-light it before installation, and send photos of any transit damage before it is fitted.

Yes. Size, proportions and metal finish can be adapted on most models, and we send you a drawing to approve before production. Changes to wiring, dimming or colour temperature keep the piece returnable; changes to its outer form are made for you alone and cannot be returned. Yes, at no extra cost. The standard version is not dimmable; write #dim in the note at checkout and we fit a dimmable driver. Tell us the dimmer or smart-home system you use and we match the driver to it. The light is 2700K Warm White as standard; a warmer or cooler colour temperature can be made on request, also at no extra cost. Through alabaster, warm white gives the softest glow.
Mount it at 150–170 cm (60–66 in) from the floor in a hallway or living room, or just above the headboard line beside a bed. In pairs, place them either side of a mirror, fireplace or bed.
