The Salma introduces a layer of textural silence to the modern interior. Designed for the Wabi-Sabi sensibility—which finds beauty in natural imperfection—this 120cm linear suspension acts as a luminous filter rather than a harsh light source. The tiered, rectilinear silhouette is composed of thousands of hand-wrapped fiber strands that sift the internal light into a warm, amber-toned radiance. It creates a "hearth" effect, softening the hard edges of marble islands or concrete dining tables with a golden, organic glow.

Materiality & Construction

We reject the industry standard of weaving over cheap steel wire, which eventually rusts and stains the fiber. The Sabina is built upon a solid copper internal armature, chosen for its non-corrosive properties and superior bond with organic materials. This skeleton is painstakingly hand-wrapped in high-grade natural rattan (available in a sun-bleached Natural or carbonized Matte Black). The suspension system eschews standard plastic cabling for a rigid solid brass stem (customizable to your drop height), ensuring the fixture hangs with architectural precision.

Engineering safety is our primary luxury. Given the organic nature of the materials, every Sabina fixture is "seasoned" in our Roman workshop—held at controlled humidity levels—before being sealed with a matte, invisible fire-retardant coating. We utilize high-density, cut-to-shape foam packaging to support the sharp corners of the weave during transit, ensuring the fixture arrives at your project site crisp and uncrushed.
