I. L'atmosphère
Le Totem Ostia est un artefact du futur-primitif. Mesurant une impressionnante hauteur de 175 cm, sa silhouette évoque la pureté organique d'un stalagmite ou d'un os blanchi par le soleil. Éteint, c'est une sculpture monolithique silencieuse qui commande l'espace vertical d'une pièce. Allumé, toute la forme s'anime ; le matériau capte la lumière et la diffuse à travers sa structure interne fibreuse, créant une "lueur intérieure" ambrée, éthérée et chaleureuse qui semble biologique plutôt que mécanique.
II. La matérialité
Ce n'est pas du plastique produit en masse. L'Ostia est fabriquée à partir d'un composite artisanal propriétaire — une bio-résine dense superposée à la main et renforcée de fibres naturelles. Comme on le voit dans les détails macroscopiques, la surface possède une texture brute et chaotique semblable à du parchemin fait main ou de l'albâtre fibreux. Ce processus de superposition manuel garantit qu'aucun Totem n'est identique ; les "veines" et variations de densité dans le matériau créent une carte lumineuse unique pour chaque pièce individuelle.
III. La norme Casalola
Malgré son apparence élancée défiant la gravité, l'Ostia est conçue pour la stabilité. La base est fortement lestée en interne avec un noyau en fonte, abaissant le centre de gravité pour éviter le basculement. La matrice LED interne est conçue pour durer, parcourant verticalement la colonne vertébrale pour assurer une distribution uniforme de la lumière sans "points chauds". Nous expédions ce monolithe délicat dans une caisse en bois sur mesure, suspendu dans une mousse haute densité pour protéger les courbes organiques lors du transport international.
