Nommé d'après l'ancienne ville toscane réputée pour sa pierre translucide, The Volterra est un chef-d'œuvre architectural qui adoucit la maison moderne. Lorsqu'il est illuminé, les douze lumières internes diffusent à travers des dalles taillées à la main en véritable albâtre espagnol, transformant la pierre d'une sculpture froide et monolithique en un récipient lumineux aux teintes ambrées chaudes. Le profil géométrique en étages fait un clin d'œil à l'opulence de l'Art déco des années 1920, tandis que les manchons de suspension en velours froncé ajoutent une couche sur mesure de douceur tactile, atténuant le côté industriel pour créer une atmosphère de salle à manger intime, acoustique et profondément luxueuse.

Matérialité & Provenance

Nous rejetons la tendance industrielle de la pierre factice en acrylique et résine. The Volterra est construit à partir de 100 % d'albâtre extrait, sélectionné spécifiquement pour ses veines nuageuses et fumées qui garantissent que deux luminaires ne sont jamais identiques. Les étages de pierre substantiels sont ancrés par un cadre en cuivre massif (finition en laiton brossé satiné chaud), choisi pour son poids supérieur et sa résistance à la corrosion comparé à l'acier standard. C'est un luminaire avec un « poids d'héritage » — froid au toucher et conçu pour durer plus longtemps que le bâtiment qu'il habite.
